A new concrete mat foundation bears on augercast piles where required, positioned adjacent to an existing concrete wall and slab. A bond breaker is installed between the existing concrete and the new foundation to allow differential movement. The assembly is located at the 215 basement level elevation of 0'-5" relative to the structural grid.
