Control joints intersect at the column line, utilizing flexible foam isolation joint filler products such as Ceramar or Deck-O-Foam by W.R. Meadows. Detail A shows the joint configuration with one-quarter-inch continuous sheet flexible foam and specified joint filler sealant. Reinforcing steel consists of two number four bars three feet zero inches long placed typically at the corners.
