A non-frame column base plate is set upon a concrete footing or pilaster with a three-inch layer of non-shrink grout. The base plate and anchor bolts are sized per the structural schedule, secured with double nuts and hardened washers at the top. The embedded anchor bolts feature one-half-inch by four-inch square plate washers typically at the bottom. Number four ties are spaced at six inches with a minimum of three ties provided at the footing. Footing depth and elevations are referenced to the schedule.
