Cold-formed steel framing attaches to a six-inch concrete slab with anchor bolts and self-tapping sheet metal screws. Typical steel studs space at sixteen inches on center per schedule unless noted otherwise. Double jamb studs match the size and gauge of typical studs per schedule. One-half-inch diameter J-bolts with three-inch embedment install on each side of the double stud. Number ten sheet metal screws fasten on each side at each jamb stud typically.
