Cold-formed steel studs bear on a 43 mil track secured with two 4-inch metal screws at 32 inches on center. Sheathing is fastened to the bottom chord of the steel truss with 10d nails at 12 inches on center. The acoustic profile is removed and filled solid with continuous 2x4 wood blocking attached via 4-inch metal screws at 12 inches on center with pre-drilled holes. Steel truss webs interface with the assembly near the building grid location.
