Two-sided beam-to-beam connections frame into a supporting girder web using welded shear tabs and structural tee sections sized per plan. The assembly accommodates conditions where the beam depth difference is greater than one inch as well as one inch or less, utilizing typical one-quarter inch fillet welds and complete joint penetration welds at the top and bottom flanges. Bolt sizes, quantities, spacing, and edge distances conform to AISC specifications. Weld backup plates are omitted for clarity.
