Standard connections for structural tee WT shapes used in roof framing. The steel joist attachment detail shows a WT shape connected to a joist top chord with a two-inch minimum dimension, a half-inch clearance, and three-sixteenths inch welds at one-and-a-half inches at panel points. The wide flange beam attachment features a WT member welded to the top flange of a wide flange beam with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld. The WT to WT attachment utilizes a one-quarter by four by four-inch plate with a five-eighths inch diameter machine bolt acting as an erection aid, secured with three-sixteenths inch welds on two sides. All WT braces are specified as WT3x10 unless noted otherwise on plan, with specific notes referencing sheet S6.01 for metal deck attachments and column bracing.
