A buckling-restrained braced frame top joint connection joins wide flange beams. The beams feature coped flanges as required, with a maximum three-quarter-inch clearance typical. Connection plates sized per schedule are welded with fillet welds on three sides typical, and welded on both sides with size t2. Erection bolts are provided as required, with dimensions including a one-half-inch gap and variable dimensions "X", "L", and "W".
