A hollow structural section wind girt supports metal stud framing by the supplier with an exterior finish coordinated with the architect. A drift track connection accommodates vertical deflection and wind or seismic drifts noted in the general structural notes. A horizontal drift joint is located in the skin at the girt level. The metal studs bear directly on the structural girt with connections provided by the supplier.
