Electrical conduit seismic restraint consists of a pipe clamp secured to a vertical 1/2" diameter threaded hanger rod. The hanger rod is stiffened per detail 2/S-63001 and anchored to the structure above per detail 6/S-63001. Lateral stability is provided by Unistrut P1000 channel braces connected to the pipe clamp assembly via Unistrut P1843W hinges. Braces are installed at a maximum angle of 45 degrees relative to the vertical hanger rod to provide required transverse and longitudinal restraint.
