Cold-formed steel stud framing utilizes a 150U050-54 bridging member tied to a 43 mils minimum steel stud via an L2x2x43 mils clip. The connection is secured using two number 8 or number 10 sheet metal screws on each leg or via fillet welds sized at one-eighth and one-half inch per design. Simpson SUBH, SFC, or DBC bridging connectors or approved equivalents may be substituted for the specified clip.
