A metal wire hanger is suspended from a concrete-filled metal deck through a bent steel plate and a single concrete screw anchor. The 3-inch by 4-inch by 12-gauge minimum bent steel plate aligns with the wire and fastens to the underside of the deck using a 3/8-inch diameter concrete screw with a minimum nominal embedment of 2-1/2 inches. The metal wire hanger loops through one lag screw with a minimum of three tight turns, supporting a maximum tension load of 100 pounds with a maximum 1/2-inch offset.
