A steel beam frames into the web of a supporting steel beam beneath a concrete over metal floor deck. The framing beam features a coped top flange as required to clear the deck profile and connects using a full depth web plate with three bolts. Headed shear anchors are welded through the metal deck to the top flange of the supporting beam.
