An existing steel beam frames into an existing column per elevations, utilizing a one-half-inch shear tab verify in field. A three-eighths-inch fillet weld connects the beam web to the shear tab. An existing seat with one-eighth-inch welds is provided at the column condition verify in field as noted. The installation requires verifying existing fillet welds and supplementing them to match the specified weld sizes if they are smaller or nonexistent.
