A concrete slab edge bears on a structural steel beam equipped with two rows of three-quarter-inch diameter by four-inch shear studs spaced at twelve inches on center. Continuous number four dowels with twelve-inch hooks extend one foot six inches past the steel beam at twelve inches on center. The vertical edge features a twenty-pound foam infill behind the concrete face. Horizontal number four bars at twelve inches on center reinforce the corners. A ledger for the lower slab is detailed separately.
