An elevator guiderail support tube is anchored to a structural steel beam below the concrete floor slab with a typical cap plate. The connection utilizes three three-quarter-inch diameter A325 snug tight bolts installed in long slot holes. A one-inch clearance is maintained at the structural connection. Additional offset tube connections are detailed similarly per structural plans.
