An HSS12x6x5/16 hollow structural section beam member connects to supporting structural steel framing using a connection type 3 reference detail. A one-quarter inch fillet weld attaches the assembly to the supporting member at a seven inch offset from the grid line. Additional bracing configurations are indicated per sheet reference 1/S6.2.
