A square reinforced concrete column measuring one foot nine inches on each side is centered on a structural grid line with symmetrical offset dimensions. The assembly contains eight number eight vertical reinforcing bars distributed within the section. Confinement is provided by number four ties spaced at twelve inches on center with alternating hooks at the cross ties.
