This structural connection detail shows horizontal bridging anchored to a wall using an L2 1/2x2 1/2x3/16 by zero-foot-four-inch angle secured with half-inch diameter expansion bolts. The bridging is furnished in twenty-foot or twenty-five-foot lengths, cut to suit in the field with a minimum lap of two inches. All connections are field welded, with the precise bridging size and frequency to be determined by the joist manufacturer and submitted for engineer of record review.
