A concrete slab-on-grade meets a concrete or concrete masonry unit wall or foundation stem wall with a two-inch clear cover. Dowels match the size and spacing of the slab reinforcing bars, incorporating Class B lap splices and standard hooks into the stem wall. Straight dowels are provided where an adjacent slab occurs against the wall. The sub-grade is prepared per the geotechnical report.
