An HSS post per plan passes adjacent to a concrete beam per plan, anchored by an embedded plate and welded angle sections. The embedded plate secures to the concrete beam, while an L4x3x1/2 angle connects the HSS post to the embedment. Five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds secure the top and bottom plates of the connection assembly.
