Cold-formed steel framing details plumbing and electrical service penetrations through the bottom track with additional track anchors spaced one inch from the cutout edges. Case one features a single penetration centered between adjacent steel studs with paired anchors on both sides. Case two features a penetration offset near a single steel stud with localized track anchors and fasteners. Sizing for the bottom track and steel studs is specified per the project schedule.
