A channel stringer connects to a supporting channel member through a quarter-inch thick connection plate welded with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds. The connection is secured using three-quarters inch diameter machine bolts spaced at standard intervals. Finishes are as specified on plan for both the stringer and supporting structural members.
