A concrete slab on grade bears on a perimeter concrete wall, utilizing reinforcing dowels extending from the wall to match the slab on grade size and spacing with a specified lap length. A four inch minimum slab thickness is required, increasing to six inches at curtain walls, separated from the exterior wall by vertical insulation. The exterior concrete wall includes a chamfer at the upper outside edge and connects to exterior final grade as sized per civil drawings.
