A curtain wall mullion connects laterally to a structural steel beam supporting a concrete slab on metal deck. The lateral load transfer uses an L6x4x3/4 angle measuring zero feet six inches long at the mullion lateral connection, welded with quarter-inch fillet welds. A kicker brace is spaced at six feet zero inches on center maximum, detailed per detail two on sheet S55-00. The slab on metal deck connection is detailed per detail one on sheet S55-00. The maximum lateral wind load is plus or minus seven point four six kips, with the mullion lateral connection provided by others where it occurs.
