A hollow structural section column is anchored by a base plate featuring two number 5 reinforcing bars measuring thirty-six inches long and two three-quarter inch diameter by five inch long welded studs. The base plate is dimensioned at one foot zero inches wide with a nine inch interior dimension and an eight inch height with a six inch interior dimension. Four anchor holes are located at the corners of the base plate assembly.
