A floor inlet fitting connects to return piping embedded below the slab with rigid PVC glued to the floor inlet body. A PVC membrane surrounds the fitting with types specified per the pool floor plans. Pool inlet flow requirements specify shallow area flow at 15.7 gallons per minute with 5.25 pounds per square inch at one-quarter turn open, activity area flow at 23.5 gallons per minute with 5.25 pounds per square inch at seven-eighths turn open, and lap area flow at 21.7 gallons per minute with 5.25 pounds per square inch at three-quarters turn open. Return piping sizing is referenced on the pool circulation piping plan.
