A continuous sixteen-gauge by eight-inch bearing plate runs beneath the wall assembly, resting directly on the metal floor deck above a supporting structural steel beam. The steel framing includes bolted web connections and a shear tab connection aligned with the grid line. The wall stud aligns with the center line of the wall above the support beam flange.
