Light gauge steel wall studs frame into a sill track matching the size and gauge of the wall framing. An L2x2 clip angle sized to match the stud gauge and width minus one-half inch connects the framing with three number ten sheet metal screws on each leg at the top and bottom of the sill typically. The stud and track members secure together using number ten sheet metal screws spaced at twelve inches on center typically.
