A structural steel beam features a coped top flange to clear the supporting member above. An L2x2x1/4 angle is attached to each side of the web for reinforcement. A three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld secures the connection where indicated. Dimensions and clearances are sized as required with standard six-inch spacing unless noted otherwise.
