A hollow structural section column bears on a half-inch by ten-inch by ten-inch steel embed plate at Level 01. The embed plate is anchored with four three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch stud anchors spaced at six inches gauge. The column connects to the embed plate with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld.
