Two plan views show the structural steel column and baseplate assembly seated within a concrete footing pocket. The column features gusset plates sized per the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer and a Grade 50 base plate measuring 2-1/2 inches thick, secured with nineteen 2-inch diameter F1554 Grade 36 anchor bolts with 3/4-inch by 4-inch by 0'-4" washers and double nuts. Infill concrete is designated to be cast after the column base plate has been grouted. Perimeter control joints or construction joints are detailed with number 4 trim bars centered with a 2-inch clearance and a 6-inch minimum typical spacing.
