Cold formed steel joists bear on a top track and wall stud assembly with a continuous rim track matching the size and gauge of the joist. A top track acts as the top plate matching the wall stud size and gauge. Panel edge fastening secures the sheathing to the rim joist and framing members per plan. Track blocking matches the size and gauge of the cold formed steel joist with "L50" clips at each end, where the cope flange extends the web and connects with three number ten sheet metal screws to each block at forty-eight inches on center. Number ten sheet metal screws fasten each flange at each end.
