A steel column connects to a foundation via a two and a half inch thick steel base plate with a yield strength of thirty-six ksi. Four anchor bolts designated as AB1 secure the plate, arranged with an overall plate dimension of one foot ten inches by one foot four inches. Edge distances and bolt spacings measure nine inches and six inches respectively along the principal axes. Column sizing is referenced from the column schedule and orientation is verified per the structural plan.
