Concrete masonry unit wall assemblies detail standard and alternate bond beam grouting conditions based on dimension H. Horizontal bond beam reinforcement is placed within grouted core courses as specified in structural plans and schedules. When dimension H is less than two and one-half inches, both the course containing the rebar and the course directly above it are fully grouted solid. When dimension H is greater than or equal to two and one-half inches, only the core course containing the rebar is grouted solid.
