A buckling-restrained brace connects to a wide flange column and wide flange beam through a gusset plate designed by the manufacturer. Stiffener plates are provided on the near side and far side as required by the manufacturer. A work point is established at the intersection of the brace and framing axes. The wide flange beam connects to the column using a bolted shear tab and includes a web stiffener plate. All member sizes are specified per plan.
