A steel column supports a steel cap plate at its top, carrying a steel girder bearing end secured with two three-quarter-inch diameter A325 erection bolts. A three-quarter-inch by six-inch by zero-foot-six-inch stabilizer plate is provided at the girder ends. A steel joist bears at the top level with two half-inch diameter A325 erection bolts. A three-eighths-inch by eight-inch by zero-foot-six-inch stabilizer plate with a thirteen-sixteenths-inch diameter hole is provided at the joist. Bottom chords are left unwelded to the stabilizer plate unless noted otherwise.
