An existing concrete slab bears on typical structural steel beams at Level 3, set at elevation 47 feet 10 inches. Welded wire fabric or reinforcing is embedded within the slab. An embed plate is spaced at twelve inches on center, and an eighteen-gauge closure plate is installed per contract requirements.
