An existing precast panel connects to an existing concrete curb utilizing an L6x4x1/2 inch structural steel angle. The angle is anchored to the curb with 5/8-inch diameter stainless steel Hilti KBTZ expansion anchors providing a minimum 3 1/8-inch embedment. The precast panel secures to the vertical leg of the angle with a 5/8-inch diameter hot-dip galvanized threaded rod backed by a 5/8-inch by 4-inch galvanized plate. All new anchor holes are filled with adhesive as specified by the notes. Dimensions include a 10-inch plate width spaced evenly over a 7-inch anchor spread.
