Roof joists require checking top chord bending for 250 pounds and bottom chord bending for 200 pounds, noted as non-additional loads. Warehouse areas require an additional point load of 500 pounds at any joint causing maximum truss stress. Office areas require an additional point load of 1000 pounds at any joint causing maximum truss stress, combined with roof and floor loads. A 3x nailer is attached along the top chord of the truss assembly.
