An HSS 6x4 separator beam frames into the concrete face of an elevator pit wall. The beam connects to an L8x6x1/2 angle with a three-inch minimum weld and a quarter-inch fillet weld. A half-inch embed plate with two three-quarter-inch diameter welded studs secures the assembly to the concrete pit wall.
