Concrete construction joint and closure pour configurations occur around circular and square columns. Keyed joints define the perimeter of the closure pour, with dimensions ranging from one foot six inches to three feet minimum and maximum for circular columns, and two feet to four feet for square columns. Columns are omitted for clarity where noted, and specific closure pour configurations are governed by the structural plans. A concrete construction joint is indicated where shown on the plan.
