A continuous bent plate measuring one-quarter inch by five and three-sixteenths inches is positioned above a wide-flange steel beam supporting metal deck on either side at varying elevations. A three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld connects the assembly with a spacing of three inches on center and twelve-inch intermittent welds as indicated by the weld symbol.
