The concrete footing block out features a designated opening width of seven feet two inches and a height of two feet eight inches, flanked by vertical panels and a sill and guard assembly. The reinforced concrete section incorporates continuous number seven bars on each face, number five bars on each face, and number three ties spaced at twelve inches on center across the full width of the panel. Three number four bars measuring four feet long are placed typically at the opening corners. A future sawcut line for a dock leveler is indicated with a note specifying not to form a v-groove.
