A continuous concrete foundation wall bears on a continuous concrete footing with a step configuration where the maximum step height is three feet four inches. Minimum footing thickness "t" is sized per the footing schedule and equals at least two times the step height. Minimum dowels match the vertical and horizontal wall reinforcing. Continuous "Z" bars match the continuous footing reinforcement. A continuous two-by-four keyway is provided at the footing-to-wall interface.
