A beam-to-column connection featuring an optional three-quarter inch gap for columns with a flange width of twelve inches or greater. The connection utilizes top and bottom plates sized per the standard schedule, with a minimum connection plate thickness equal to the standard bolted beam connection schedule plus one-sixteenth of an inch. Bolts are arranged with standard spacing and diameters as specified by the standard bolted beam connection schedule, referencing AISC Table 10-10a. Fillet welds secure the plates with notes referencing specific welding requirements.
