An angle brace connects to the underside of a steel beam via a five-sixteenths-inch by five-inch by five-inch plate welded to the beam flange with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds on both sides. The brace is secured to the plate using a three-eighths-inch diameter A307 bolt with two two-inch square by one-quarter-inch washer plates and Crosby G-450 red U-bolt clips complying with project conditions.
