A structural steel column base plate assembly is anchored with four 1-3/4 inch diameter ASTM F1554 Grade 105 anchor rods. Each anchor rod is paired with a 5/8-inch by 4-inch by 0'-4" washer plate featuring a standard hole. The column flanges are secured with complete joint penetration welds on each flange per D1.8-DCW. The column web is attached using 5/16-inch fillet welds per D1.8-DCW.
