A steel beam framed with an L3x3x1/4 angle connects to a fourteen-inch concrete wall reinforced with vertical and horizontal bars sized per plan. The wall incorporates an 8 inch by 4 inch by 3/8 inch embed plate anchored by two 3/4 inch diameter by 5 inch headed stud anchors spaced at 24 inches on center. A concrete topping over a metal floor deck bears adjacent to the wall assembly. The steel beam web is bolted with a vertical row of five fasteners.
