Concrete grade beam reinforcement consists of longitudinal steel and number 4 ties with spacings per the structural schedule. A Class B lap splice is provided typically at each end and at interior beam locations, sized per sheet S400. Three inches of concrete cover is maintained typically throughout. The grade beam depth varies as specified on plan, extending from the face of the footing aligned with the column center line grid.
